This policy explains how ArtAbsurd handles order cancellations, damaged or defective products, lost shipments, reprints, refunds, and returns.
Order Cancellations
You may cancel an order within 12 hours of placing it. To request cancellation, email info@artabsurd.com and include your order number.
After the 12-hour cancellation period, the order may already be in production and can no longer be cancelled. Approved cancellations will be refunded to the original payment method. The time required for the refund to appear depends on the payment provider or bank.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products
If your poster arrives damaged, has a manufacturing or printing defect, or differs materially from the product ordered, contact us within 30 days of delivery.
Please include:
- Your order number
- A short description of the problem
- Clear photographs showing the complete product and the defect or damage
- Photographs of the packaging and shipping label when the damage may have occurred in transit
After reviewing the claim, ArtAbsurd will determine the appropriate remedy. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we may provide a free reprint or a full or partial refund. Please do not return a damaged or defective product unless we specifically ask you to do so.
Minor differences between colors shown on a screen and the printed product may occur because of display settings and the printing process. Such minor variations are not normally considered defects.
Missing Items and Lost Shipments
If an item is missing from your order, contact us within 30 days of delivery. If an order has not arrived by the end of the estimated delivery period, contact us within 30 days of the estimated delivery date.
We may ask you to confirm the shipping address, check with household members or neighbors, or contact the carrier before we complete our investigation. If the shipment is confirmed as lost, ArtAbsurd will determine whether to issue a reprint or a refund, subject to applicable law.
Incorrect or Incomplete Shipping Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible and within the 12-hour cancellation period.
If an order is lost, returned, or cannot be delivered because the address supplied at checkout was incorrect or incomplete, ArtAbsurd may decline a refund or free replacement. If reshipment is possible, the customer may be required to pay the additional production and shipping costs, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
Change-of-Mind Returns
Every ArtAbsurd poster is printed to order. We do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges unless they are required by the laws applicable to the customer.
For purchases covered by European Union or United Kingdom distance-selling rules, customers generally have the right to notify us of their decision to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the order and then return the product within a further 14 days. Exceptions and additional local rules may apply.
Before returning any product, email info@artabsurd.com with your order number and wait for return instructions. Do not send the product to the manufacturer or to the return address printed on the shipping label unless we instruct you to do so.
For a legally required change-of-mind return:
- The customer is responsible for the direct cost of return shipping unless applicable law requires otherwise.
- The product must be returned in a condition consistent with reasonable inspection. A deduction may be made for loss of value caused by unnecessary handling where permitted by law.
- We will refund the product price and the original standard delivery cost where required by law. Any additional cost for an upgraded or express shipping method may be excluded.
- The refund will be issued to the original payment method within the period required by applicable law after we receive the returned product or acceptable evidence that it has been sent.
Customs and Import Charges
International orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes, or handling charges imposed by the destination country. Unless stated otherwise at checkout, these charges are the responsibility of the recipient. Customs delays and charges are outside ArtAbsurd’s control.
Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted. If local consumer law gives you stronger rights than this policy, those rights will apply.
